Wood Cup and Ball

Description

Variations of this game can be found in many cultures throughout history. This particular version is modeled after one popular in France in the 16th century and by the 18th century had gained popularity in England and the colonies by the 18th century. This particular toy is appropriate for almost any post 1600 impression.

This cup and ball is about 6″ tall.

Fun Fact: In France these were referred to as a “bilboquet” which is why we sometimes hear them called a bilbo catcher.
